Slow Cooker Smothered Pork Chops

Who doesn’t love letting their slow cooker do all the work?  It just takes a few minutes to get all of the ingredients for this delicious dinner into your slow cooker, then set it and forget it.  Bone-in pork chops gently braise in beer and our Golden Mushroom Soup for hours until they are tender and smothered in delicious sauce.  Be sure to serve the sauce over rice to soak up every delicious drop.

Cooking Directions

  • Season the pork as desired.  Sprinkle with the Creole seasoning.  Stir the soup, beer, flour, mustard and brown sugar in a 6-quart slow cooker until smooth.  Add the mushrooms, onion and pork.
  • Cover and and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or until the pork is cooked through.  Serve the pork and sauce with the rice.

  • 3 pounds bone-in center cut pork chop (6 chops)
  • 2 teaspoons Creole seasoning
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounces) Campbell’s® Condensed Golden Mushroom Soup
  • 0.5 cup beer
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
  • 10 ounces sliced mushrooms (about 3 cups)
  • 1 large onion, cut in half and sliced (about 1 cup)
  • 3 cups hot cooked long grain white rice (from about 1 cup dry)
