Grilled Mozzarella, Spinach & Red Pepper Sandwiches

A restaurant style sandwich that’s easy to make at home.  Mozzarella, baby spinach and roasted red pepper, sandwiched between whole grain bread.  A perfect pairing for our Campbell's® Condensed Tomato Soup.

Cooking Directions

  • Brush one side of the bread slices with the oil. Layer the cheese, spinach and pepper between the bread slices (keeping the oil-brushed sides on the outside).
  • Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-low heat.  Cook the sandwiches for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted, turning over once halfway through the cooking time.

  • 4 slices Pepperidge Farm® Whole Grain 15 Grain Bread
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 slices deli mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup loosely packed baby spinach
  • 0.5 cup chopped roasted red bell pepper
