Grilled Ham & Cheese

Soup and a sandwich is the ultimate comfort food, especially when the sandwich is a grilled cheese.  We’ve added some ham for heartiness and extra flavor.  So easy but oh so good!

Cooking Directions

  • Butter one side of the bread slices.  Layer the cheese and ham between the bread slices (keeping the buttered sides on the outside).
  • Heat a 10-inch skillet over medium-low heat.  Cook the sandwich for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown and the cheese is melted, turning over once halfway through the cooking time.

  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 2 slices Pepperidge Farm® Whole Grain 100% Whole Wheat Bread
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • 1 ounce thinly sliced reduced sodium deli ham
