Calzone

Hearty, seasoned tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese are folded inside bread dough, baked until golden, sliced while piping hot and served with additional sauce.

Cooking Directions

  • Heat the oven to 400°F.
  • Roll the dough into a 14-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Place the dough on a greased baking sheet.
  • Spread the sauce over half of the dough to within 1-inch of the edge. Top with the cheese. Fold the dough in half over the filling. Crimp the edges to seal.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until it's golden. Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve with additional sauce.

  • 0.5 cup Prego® Italian Sausage & Garlic Italian Sauceor Prego Mini Meatball Italian Sauce
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese(about 6 ounces)
