Picante Sloppy Joes

All you need is five ingredients and 20 minutes to make these family-pleasing sandwiches that get an extra kick from picante sauce.

Cooking Directions

  • Cook the beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until it's well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
  • Stir the picante sauce, yellow mustard, brown sugar and green onions, if desired, in the skillet.  Cook until the mixture is hot and bubbling.
  • Reduce heat.  Cover and cook 5 minutes.  Divide the beef mixture evenly among the rolls.

  • 1 tablespoon packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 0.25 cup green onion, if desired
