Lighter Skillet Beef & Vegetables

Extra lean ground beef, fat free gravy and lots of mixed veggies combine with pasta to make this simply delicious skillet dish.

Cooking Directions

  • Cook the beef, onion, basil and garlic powder in a 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, until the beef is well browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
  • Stir the gravy and vegetables in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Cover and cook for 10 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir in the rotini and cook until the beef mixture is hot and bubbling.

  • 0.75 pound 0% extra lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10 1/4 ounces) Campbell’s® Beef Gravy or 1 1/4 cups Swanson® Beef Gravy
  • 1 package (10 ounces) frozen mixed vegetables (carrots, green beans, corn, peas)
  • 6 ounces (about 1 1/2 cups) rotini (spiral) pasta, cooked according to package directions without salt
