Robust Prego® Italian Sauce, red wine and mozzarella cheese meld together for a delicious Italian-style fondue.

Cooking Directions

  • Heat the sauce and wine in a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the sauce mixture into a fondue pot or slow cooker set on LOW. Sprinkle with the cheese. Let stand for 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted.  Serve the fondue warm with the Dippers.

Ingredients

  • 1.75 cups Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
  • 0.25 cup dry red wine
  • 1 cup  shredded mozzarella cheese  (about 4 ounces)
  • 1 loaf  warm Pepperidge Farm® Garlic Bread, cut into cubes, and/or meatballs, sliced cooked Italian pork sausage, breaded mozzarella sticks, sliced red pepper and/or whole mushrooms for dipping
