Cheddar Ham & Potatoes Verde
This dish is perfect if you’re looking for something a little different for dinner. It also makes a great addition to a brunch menu. It gets a unique, savory, spicy flavor from our Salsa Verde. Because you start with hash browns, it’s easier than ever to pull together. It takes only 10 minutes to assemble and then you just pop in the oven.

Cooking Directions
- Set the oven to 400°F. While the oven is heating, spray a 13x9x2-inch baking dish with vegetable cooking spray.
- Season the potatoes as desired. Layer 4 cups potatoes, onion, ham, salsa verde and cheese in the baking dish. Top with the remaining potatoes. Spray with the cooking spray.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
Ingredients
- 1 package (30 ounces) frozen country style hash brown potatoes (shredded potatoes)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped (about 1/4 cup)
- 8 ounces fully-cooked ham (we used a ham steak), diced
- 1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Salsa Verde
- 1.5 cups Cheddar cheese (about 6 ounces)
