Baked Picante Chicken

Spicy south-of-the-border flavors are featured when chicken breasts are baked in a picante sauce and topped with crunchy tortilla chips and melted Cheddar cheese.

Cooking Directions

  • Place the chicken into a 3-quart shallow baking dish. Pour the picante sauce over the chicken.
  • Bake at 350°F. for 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • Stir the sauce in the dish and spoon over the chicken. Sprinkle the chicken with the tortilla chips and cheese. Bake until the cheese is melted.

  • 1.5 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 6 breast halves)
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Picante Sauce
  • 0.25 cup crushed tortilla chips
  • 0.5 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 2 ounces)
