Spinach Tortellini Soup

With only 5 ingredients and 5 minutes of prep, this delicious soup will be on your table in no time flat.  If you don’t have fresh spinach on hand, frozen spinach will work in a pinch.

Cooking Directions

  • Heat the broth, garlic powder and black pepper in a 3-quart saucepan over high heat to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat to medium. Stir in the tortellini. Cook for 10 minutes. Stir in the spinach. Cook for 5 minutes or until the tortellini is tender but still firm. Season to taste.

  • 0.25 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.75 cup frozen or shelf-stable cheese tortellini (about 3 ounces)
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped fresh spinach leaves
